MAAD Softball Tournament results and reports are posted!
The 52nd Annual Men, 29th Annual Women, and 12th Annual Coed MAAD Softball tournament was held at Sioux City, IA on the weekend of July 23 and 24, 2010 under the hostship of Omaha Association of the Deaf. The last time Sioux City had MAAD Softball was back in 1979!

- 5 men teams - Faribault Hilltoppers, Sioux Falls/CSD Blue Sox, Midwest Express, Olathe Twisters, Columbia
- 3 women teams - GSLAD Humblebees, Olathe Twisters, Fly Khicks
- 6 coed teams - Columbia, St. Louis Bell Club, ECA – Omaha, Deaf Jacks, Sons of Pitches (Omaha), Council Bluffs

MAAD Basketball Tournament results and reports are posted!
MAAD 2010 Basketball Tournament was held on March 12 – 13, 2010 with approximately 350 people. Games were held at Simon Recreation Center of St. Louis University. Women and men championship games were held at the West Pine gym, former home of St. Louis University basketball team. There were a total of 10 teams participating – 7 men and 3 women.

MAAD is excited to announce there will be 10 teams coming to St. Louis to play basketball! They are:
- 7 men teams – Lincoln Blackshirts; Council Bluffs Silent Club; Olathe Grillers; GSLAD; MinnePaul A Blue; Olathe Meadowlarks; MinnePaul B White
- 3 women teams – Wichita Stealth; Omaha; MinnePaul

MAAD is proud to present that there will be 14 TEAMS coming to the 2009 OCD/MAAD Softball Tournament during July 16-18, 2009! The following teams are:
- Women - Olathe Twisters, Denver Lady Lynx, Fly Khicks-Council Bluffs and St. Louis (GSLAD) Humblebees
- Men - Olathe Twisters, Omaha Rotella's, MinnePaul/Faribault Hoys, St Louis Warriors, Columbia-Caspers Flooring and Sioux Falls Blue Sox
- Coed - Wichita, Omaha Akadema, Columbia and Minnesota Deafjacks

Olathe Club of the Deaf has found fields but the dates have been changed. The new dates are July 16-18, 2009. The fields are Celerbation Fields in Gardner, KS and hotel is Holiday Inn in Olathe, KS. Kudos to OCD! More information can be found on the flyer [view].

The regional presidents met during October 24-26 in Chicago, Illinois to discuss issues with USADB. For more information, the minutes and powerpoint has been posted.
